The Graduate Program in Nutrition Sciences (PPGCNUT) offers a Master of Science in Nutritional Sciences degree program, with options for emphasis in Human Nutrition, Health Public and Food Technology and Science.
The program prepares students for a variety of positions and careers in the field of nutritional science through developing a strong foundation in theoretical and practical knowledge of nutrition principles using the interdisciplinary with an approach oriented to the individual, groups and communities with goal in different areas of knowledge and professional training for the exercise of teaching, research and professional activities.
Whether students intend to work in research, in community application, or in the development of government policy, students enhance their ability to work effectively in the field, advancing the scientific dialogue of nutritional sciences and improving health and well-being through nutrition locally and globally.
The PPGCNUT presents two lines of research such as: Nutrients, Bioative Compounds and Food Quality Control and Health and Nutrition of Population Groups
